Job Summary
Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN) opportunity in Orlando, FL. The role involves supervising nursing staff, coordinating resident care, reviewing and revising care plans with Charge Nurses, delegating responsibilities, delivering hands-on patient care, completing rounds, handling crisis situations, and ensuring safe, clean environments. Requires current LPN license in-state, long-term care supervisory experience preferred, 3–5 years of long-term care or similar nursing experience, strong communication, multitasking, and physical stamina. Pay range $59,810–$94,539 annually; benefits include medical/dental/vision insurance, 403b, daily pay, bonuses, and opportunities for career advancement. May participate in Team Leader and CNA meetings and must be capable of responding to residents’ needs, coordinating activities, and ensuring quality patient care per policy.
Required Qualifications
- Current LPN license in the state of employment
- Two years long-term care supervisory experience preferred
- Three to five years long-term care experience or similar nursing experience
- Excellent communication skills with residents, visitors and staff
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task, manage time and organize daily schedule
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods
- Ability to lift heavy objects using proper lifting techniques and with assistance as necessary
- Ability to transfer and move residents weighing 200+ lbs with assistance
- Ability to push and pull equipment weighing more than 40 lbs with assistance
- Manual dexterity and coordination for handling residents and equipment
- Ability to perform necessary documentation
- Visual acuity
- Ability to manage a diversity of activities
