Job Summary
Conduct rounds to observe, assess, document, and report resident conditions. Administer medications as prescribed and ensure implementation of care plans. Perform narcotic reconciliation with shifts, initiate incident reports, and discharge residents per facility policy. Oversee aides and communicate status updates to resident point of contact. Complete nursing assessments for physician calls before making any changes. Rarely lift or carry 50+ lbs; frequently lift or carry 25-50 lbs. Requires active Texas LVN license and skilled nursing facility experience.
Required Qualifications
- Has completed an LVN program at an accredited vocational school or college.
- Must be an active Licensed Vocational Nurse in the state of Texas in good standing.
- Must be able to lift 1-25 lbs
