Job Summary
Ensure quality care for residents by observing, assessing, documenting, and reporting condition changes during rounds. Administer medications as prescribed, conduct physician rounds, and perform narcotic reconciliation across shifts. Monitor nursing aides, initiate incident reports, and discharge residents per facility policy. Complete nursing assessments before physician calls and communicate status updates to resident contacts. Identify significant resident condition changes and take necessary action per policies.
Required Qualifications
- Has completed an LVN program at an accredited vocational school or college.
- Must be an active Licensed Vocational Nurse in the state of Texas in good standing.
- Must be able to lift 1-25 lbs
- Must be able to lift 25-50 lbs
- Must be able to lift 50+ lbs
- Must be able to carry 1-25 lbs
