Job Summary
LVN Charge Nurse responsibilities include observing and assessing residents during rounds, ensuring adherence to care plans, administering medications, coordinating with physicians, performing narcotic reconciliation, documenting changes in resident condition, supervising aides, initiating incident/accident reports, and discharging residents per policy. Requires completion of an LVN program and an active Texas LVN license in good standing; experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred; candidate will perform nursing assessments prior to physician calls and maintain clear communication with residents and families.
Required Qualifications
- Has completed an LVN program at an accredited vocational school or college.
- Must be an active Licensed Vocational Nurse in the state of Texas in good standing.
