Job Summary
Assists physicians and/or practitioners and Practice Manager in a clinical/surgical setting while delivering patient care. Manages daily patient flow, rooms patients promptly, maintains exam-room setup, supports provider productivity, and documents chart notes accurately. Performs nursing tasks including medication administration, sterile technique, and equipment disinfection. Communicates effectively with interdisciplinary care team, reviews daily schedules, and conducts timely patient follow-up and triage calls. Also responsible for generating new sales and maintaining current client base, including patient re-activation calls (goal 20/day). Requires Certified Licensed Vocational Nurse with 2+ years in dermatology/back-office medical experience, HIPAA/OSHA knowledge, strong customer service, teamwork, and ability to upsell.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Licensed Vocational Nurse
- 2+ years dermatology/cosmetic back-office medical experience
- Knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA regulations pertaining to group practice
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to recognize and support organizational priorities
- Ability to foster strong relationships with team members and external clients
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Ability to operate basic office equipment and manage multiple tasks
