Job Summary
Administer medication, monitor anesthesia, and provide pre- and post-operative care for surgical patients. Perform IV, IM, and subcutaneous injections, including advanced skills like arterial catheter placement and epidural administration. Facilitate outpatient appointments by consulting with surgeons and managing rechecks. Conduct radiographs and other advanced imaging while assisting with all types of surgery and procedures. Prepare operating rooms and exam rooms, sterilize instruments, and complete daily safety and cleaning duties. Communicate with clients regarding financial estimates and collect payments. Interface with other hospital departments as needed.

- Fluent English speaking and reading skills
- Safe patient restraint

- Phlebotomy and catheter placement
- Knowledge of radiology safety and proper technique
- Proficient in post-op monitoring and care of surgical patients
- Solid foundation of knowledge of common veterinary medications
- Individualized, patient-focused nursing
