Licensed Veterinary Technician - Surgery

Provide nursing care to stable patients in a veterinary hospital setting. Independently contribute to a larger team while performing tasks such as placing peripheral intravenous catheters, monitoring vital signs, administering subcutaneous and intravenous fluids, operating IV fluid pumps, and ensuring appropriate patient response to therapy. Conduct post-operative client communication as part of a collaborative care team. Preference for 2+ years of veterinary hospital experience. Must be able to work in a rotating on-call schedule after training. This role emphasizes teamwork, skill development through the BluePearl/Mars Veterinary Health framework, and ongoing learning opportunities through continued education. The position is based in Monterey, CA and is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
