Job Summary
Licensed Veterinary Technician role at a leading New York City animal hospital spanning Internal Medicine & Dialysis, Cardiology, Emergency & Critical Care, Integrative & Rehabilitative Medicine, Interventional Radiology, Avian & Exotic Pet Medicine, Diagnostic Imaging, Surgery, and leadership positions (LVT Director of OR, LVT Manager of ECC). Responsibilities include interpreting and executing treatment plans; operating and monitoring Heska syringe pumps, Cardell BP monitors, Doppler, and blood gas machines; placing jelco and sampling catheters and collecting blood samples; updating patient records and monitoring activity; maintaining stock and supplies; assisting with cleaning and unit cleanliness; training new employees and volunteers. Qualifications require NYS license or permit and one year of animal handling experience with ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Salary: $62,000-$83,000.
