Job Summary
Neurology Veterinary Technician responsibilities include setting up constant rate infusions (CRI) and performing medical math calculations (mcg/mg, %/mg), inducing, monitoring and recovering anesthesia, preparing for MRI and CT procedures, and discharging neuro patients with client education. Provide nursing care to stable patients per hospital standards, perform callbacks and medication refills, gather histories and relay to the Clinician, conduct physical exams (vital signs, assessments), assist with IVC placement and venipuncture, operate all brands of IV fluid pumps, restrain patients during consultations and diagnostics. Required Qualifications
- Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) or eligible for licensure
- Unrestricted current authorization to work in the United States
