Job Summary
Experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician with a focus in internal medicine. The role requires a minimum of 2 years of veterinary technician work with internal medicine specialty experience and possession of LVMT/CVT/LVT/RVT licenses, plus Tennessee licensure within 90 days of start date. Schedule is 4 days per week with 10-hour shifts. Beneficial credentials include a broad understanding of triage, pharmacology, restraint, diagnostic imaging, phlebotomy, anesthesia, and laboratory procedures, along with strong client and team communication. Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years working as a veterinary technician, with specialty experience in internal medicine
- LVMT, CVT, LVT, or RVT license required
- Must obtain Tennessee Licensure within 90 days of start date
- Broad understanding of basic veterinary knowledge including triage, disease processes, pharmacology, restraint, diagnostic imaging, phlebotomy, anesthesia, laboratory equipment and procedures
- Calm demeanor in stressful situations, critical thinking, high emotional intelligence
- Attention to detail, strong communication skills with clients and team members
