Job Summary
Provide exceptional nursing care to emergency and critically ill patients, assisting veterinarians with procedures, diagnostics, and treatments. Monitor hospitalized and intensive care patients while administering medications, fluid therapy, and performing venipuncture, catheter placement, and sample collection. Support anesthesia and sedation procedures as needed and maintain accurate medical records. Mentor fellow technicians and collaborate closely with veterinarians and support teams to foster a positive hospital culture. This full-time or part-time role at Animal Emergency & Specialty Center offers $29–$38/hr plus shift differentials and a $5,000 sign-on bonus for new hires. Located in Poulsbo, WA, the position is part of Ethos Veterinary Health's network of specialty and emergency hospitals.
Required Qualifications
- Current Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) credential in good standing or ability to obtain Washington licensure

- Strong technical and patient care skills, with the ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations
- A collaborative mindset and commitment to exceptional patient care
- Emergency, critical care, or specialty experience preferred but not required
