Job Summary
Licensed Veterinary Technician duties include supporting veterinarians with patient care, exams, surgery, anesthesia, and recovery; safely restraining animals; clear client communication; performing lab work, radiographs, injections, and IV catheter placement; maintaining medical records and assisting with medication dispensing; keeping exam rooms and equipment clean; and following hospital safety and regulatory guidelines. Ideal candidates have LVT certification, ability to handle animals safely, knowledge of common diseases, and familiarity with DEA/OSHA guidelines.
