Job Summary
Licensed Veterinary Technician role in a surgery-exclusive NYC hospital. Provide hands-on care to surgical and hospitalized patients, place and manage IV catheters, administer medications, monitor vitals, assist with blood draws and wound care, communicate with clients, and work with a collaborative team of doctors, specialists, and nurses in a fast-paced, state-of-the-art surgical environment.
Required Qualifications
- Licensure in New York State required
- 2+ years of experience as a Licensed Veterinary Technician
- Anesthesia, Critical Care or ICU experience a plus
- Experience with practice management software (ezyVet)
- Strong communication skills
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Dedication to client and patient service
