Job Summary
Assist veterinarians in examining, treating, and monitoring animals by administering medications, vaccines, and treatments while monitoring vital signs and collecting laboratory samples. Prepare surgical suites, assist during procedures by managing anesthesia, and perform diagnostic tests such as blood, urine, and feces analysis. Educate clients on wellness plans, nutrition, and disease prevention while maintaining accurate medical charting and managing hospital supplies. Perform select reception duties including triaging calls and scheduling appointments. Schedule includes 10+ hour shifts, Saturdays, evenings, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Must have and maintain a valid certification, registration, or licensing.
