Job Summary
Licensed Veterinary Technician needed to join Bay Animal Hospital in Essexville, MI. Provide patient care during surgical and dental procedures including anesthesia monitoring, patient prep and recovery, and dental cleanings/radiographs. Ensure efficient exam room workflow and exceptional client communication; review treatment plans and discharge instructions with empathy. Collaborate with the veterinarian during outpatient visits to uphold high-quality patient care. Role requires detail-oriented technicians ready to work at the top of their license in a team-focused environment; full-time, 4-10s schedule, Monday-Friday, no weekends, on-call one evening biweekly for hospitalized patient care. Compensation $20-22/hour plus bonuses and benefits.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of veterinary experience in a clinical setting
- Current Veterinary Technician License in the state of Michigan
- Surgical set up & assisting
- Phlebotomy
- Inpatient care
