Licensed Transportation Engineer - Roadway

Job Summary
Lead and contribute to the planning and design of roadway projects (highways, interchanges, municipal roadways) as part of Olsson’s Roadway team. Provide technical expertise in preparing and reviewing engineering plans and construction documents per DOT standards; perform design calculations for horizontal/vertical alignments, drainage, and geometrics; develop cost estimates and assist with budgeting, scheduling, and resource coordination; collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver cohesive project solutions; communicate with clients and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle; support or lead project management efforts including tracking deliverables and ensuring quality and timeliness; conduct site visits and field observations to support design development and construction activities; opportunity for growth in technical and leadership capabilities within a collaborative team environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, with an emphasis in transportation preferred
- A minimum of 4+ years of related engineering experience
- Experience with MicroStation OpenRoads Designer or AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in the state of Arkansas, or the ability to obtain within six months
- Knowledge of municipal and DOT standards and procedures
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to contribute and work well on a team
Desired Qualifications
