Licensed Therapist – Sanctuary Recovery Centers

Job Summary
Conduct intake assessments to evaluate clients' needs and create personalized treatment plans for individuals facing substance abuse, trauma, and co-occurring behavioral health challenges. Facilitate group therapy sessions following a structured curriculum and deliver one-on-one counseling to track progress and adjust care as necessary. Utilize clinical techniques like motivational interviewing and CBT to guide clients toward recovery while promoting positive coping techniques and healthy interpersonal relationships. Ensure therapy addresses both emotional and behavioral needs by maintaining thorough documentation, observing significant behavioral changes, and collaborating with case management teams to ensure comprehensive care.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Arizona license as an LPC, LMFT, LCSW, LASAC, or LAC or LMSW
- Minimum of two years of experience in Behavioral Health
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Must pass a background check
- Must pass a drug screening test
- Must pass an APS (Adult Protective Services) registry check
- Must be willing to adapt to evolving client and organizational needs
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in Behavioral Health or related field
- Proficient in KIPU and MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven experience in a clinical counseling role
