Job Summary
Therapy Billing Compliance Partner responsible for Medicare claim reviews, internal investigations, and tracking corrective action plans within a skilled nursing (SNF) setting. Performs compliance audits, analyzes medical records/claims for possible compliance or quality issues, and facilitates training on Medicare requirements for OT, PT, or SLP. Requires at least five years of SNF experience, licensure as an OT/PT/SLP, and strong writing/communication skills. Travel up to ~70% within California and surrounding areas; home-office capable; aims to enhance organizational compliance in collaboration with field facilities and resources.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Therapist (OT/PT/SLP)
- Minimum of five years' SNF experience
- Expertise in MDS/PDPM coding rules and regulations
- Understanding of legal and regulatory framework governing skilled nursing industry
- Ability to work with all levels of management on regulatory issues
- Travel ability and willingness to relocate or commute within CA area
