Job Summary
Conduct individual, family, and group counseling services for adults in recovery, including crisis intervention and stabilization. Perform intake screenings, comprehensive assessments, and diagnostic evaluations to develop personalized treatment plans aligned with clinical best practices. Facilitate evidence-based interventions such as trauma-informed and co-occurring disorder treatment, while collaborating with medical providers and case managers to ensure coordinated care. Monitor client progress, adjust treatment approaches as needed, and document clinical services accurately per agency and state standards. Participate in clinical staffing, treatment team meetings, and case consultations. Provide clinical guidance to colleagues and represent the organization professionally through community outreach.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field
- Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a PLPC, LPC, LMSW, LCSW, PLMFT, or LMFT
- Knowledge of evidence-based treatment approaches, behavioral health assessments, diagnostic practices, and treatment planning
- Experience providing counseling services to individuals experiencing mental health and/or substance use disorders
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, documentation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to effectively provide services through telehealth platforms and in-person settings
- Willingness to become licensed in additional states as required
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound clinical judgment
- Commitment to person-centered care, recovery-oriented services, and continuous professional development
- Ability to establish positive working relationships with clients, families, referral sources, and community partners
