Licensed Surveyor

Experienced Licensed Surveyor needed for Volkert's Midwest Region in Dayton, OH. You will conduct boundary, topographic, right-of-way, and construction layout surveys using GPS, total stations, and other instruments; collect, analyze, and certify survey data; prepare plats, legal descriptions, and technical reports. Lead project management activities including planning, budgeting, and resource allocation; supervise and train survey crews; coordinate with engineers, architects, and construction teams. Maintain field notes, logs, and digital records; interpret and apply engineering plans. Utilize CAD software (AutoCAD Civil 3D), Trimble, Carlson, and GIS tools for mapping and modeling; apply 3D scanning, GNSS, and aerial photogrammetry where applicable. Requirements include an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or related field, active Ohio PS license, minimum 3 years of field surveying experience, strong surveying knowledge, proficiency with survey instruments and software, excellent communication and leadership skills, and the ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen; valid driver's license and satisfactory MVR.
