Job Summary
Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) position in the Austin area with TX-STAR Speech Language Services. Provide assessment, consultation, and intervention within school settings, including comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations, data interpretation to support eligibility and service recommendations, development and implementation of IEPs, and behavior support strategies. Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams; participate in ARD/IEP meetings; conduct reevaluations per state/federal guidelines; maintain accurate documentation. Requires a Master’s degree in School Psychology or related field and valid Texas LSSP licensure. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus. Flexible scheduling with full-time, part-time, and hybrid options; some travel between campuses may be involved.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in School Psychology or related field
- Valid Texas licensure as a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP)
- Experience administering and interpreting cognitive, academic, and behavioral assessments
- Strong knowledge of IDEA, FERPA, and special education regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
