Job Summary
LSSP for school-based opportunities in the El Paso area responsible for conducting comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations, interpreting assessment data for eligibility and service needs, contributing to IEP development and implementation, providing counseling and behavioral intervention strategies, collaborating with teachers and administrators, developing classroom interventions, participating in ARD/IEP meetings, conducting reevaluations per state/federal guidelines, and maintaining accurate documentation. Requires Master’s in School Psychology, Texas LSSP licensure, and experience with cognitive/academic/behavioral assessments; bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus; travel between campuses may be involved; placement can be full-time or part-time depending on district needs.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in School Psychology or related field
- Valid Texas licensure as a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP)
- Experience administering and interpreting cognitive, academic, and behavioral assessments
- Strong knowledge of special education laws and compliance requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams
