Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, academic, social, emotional, and behavioral functioning. Interpret results to develop and implement interventions and support plans for K–12 students. Provide individual and group counseling addressing anxiety, depression, and behavioral problems. Collaborate with teachers to create behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and individualized education plans (IEPs). Serve as a resource for school staff by providing consultation and training on assessment and behavior management. Maintain accurate and confidential records of all sessions and progress reports. Full-time onsite role in Wolfforth, TX for the 26/27 school year with a starting rate of $50/hour.
Required Qualifications
- Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP)
- Previous experience working as an LSSP in a school or educational setting
- Knowledge of assessment tools, psychoeducational testing, and intervention strategies relevant to children and adolescents
- Strong understanding of special education laws, regulations, and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, families, school staff, and external agencies
- Proficiency in documentation and record-keeping
- Must be able to stand, walk, and move around in various areas of the school facility
- Must be able to communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents both verbally and in writing
- Must be able to lift or move objects weighing up to 25 pounds
- Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, or crouch
- Must have the physical stamina to supervise and engage with students throughout the school day
- Must be available for the 26/27 school year
- Must be onsite in Wolfforth, TX
