Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, academic, social, emotional, and behavioral functioning. Interpret results and collaborate with teachers, parents, and stakeholders to develop interventions and support plans. Provide individual and group counseling for anxiety, depression, and behavioral issues. Participate in creating and implementing IEPs and behavior intervention plans. Serve as a resource for school staff through consultation, training, and support on assessment and behavior management. Maintain accurate, confidential records of all sessions and progress reports. Work onsite in Tomball, TX for the 26/27 school year with full-time hours at $50/hour.
Required Qualifications
- TX LSSP License required
- Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP)
- Previous experience working as an LSSP in a school or educational setting
- Knowledge of assessment tools, psychoeducational testing, and intervention strategies relevant to children and adolescents
- Strong understanding of special education laws, regulations, and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, families, school staff, and external agencies
- Proficiency in documentation and record-keeping
- Experience in teletherapy or online counseling
- Onsite Only location in Tomball, TX
- Full-time (37.5 hours/week) schedule
- August 2026 start date for the 26/27 school year
