Job Summary
Assist the Director in meeting the medically related emotional and social needs of residents on an individual basis. Plan, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the overall operation of the Social Services Department in accordance with federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations. Maintain established standards of practice set forth by the community's administration and Social Services Policies and Procedures while following all health, sanitary, and infection control policies. This role supports the facility's mission to deliver heartfelt care in a positive, family-like atmosphere at Autumn Care of Waynesville.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Possession of a current, unencumbered license to practice as a Social Work within the state in which you work, if required by state/federal regulations.
- Must have experience in Long Term Care as well as behavioral health
- Must be able to communicate in English and have the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in healthcare, either social services, direct care or hospitality, is preferred.
