Licensed Service Electrician

Job Summary
Troubleshoot and repair building automation systems, electrical issues, and minor repairs on VFDs, transfer switches, lighting systems, and UPS systems. Conduct visual inspections of high voltage switchgear and service motor control centres, switches, breakers, and branch circuit wiring. Operate and complete minor servicing of chillers, life safety systems, heat pumps, air conditioners, and air handling units. Provide feedback on proposed renovations regarding infrastructure impacts and create isometric drawings, material takeoffs, and price jobs. Assist and delegate other classifications as required. Monday through Friday with some overtime, on-call, and weekend work to support operational needs. Master Electrician designation or ability to obtain qualification is an asset.
Required Qualifications
- OSSGD or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Ontario trade certification of qualification (309a or 442a)
- 7-10 years in the operation and maintenance of facilities
- Working knowledge of Ontario & National Electrical Code
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (oral and written)
Desired Qualifications
- Master Electrician designation or ability to obtain qualification
- Microsoft Office/Google Suite experience
