Job Summary
Coordinates the implementation and review of school health services, policies, and procedures; provides first aid for illnesses and injuries; administers medications to students; maintains and secures medication storage; communicates with families about health concerns; trains a triage health office team; provides medical support to teachers on IEPs and participates on 504 Teams; maintains health records and immunization compliance; ensures mandated health service activities and reporting; performs additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed by the State of Minnesota as Licensed School Nurse
- Experience coordinating school health services
- Experience with IEPs and 504 Plans
- Medication administration experience
- Immunization record maintenance
