Job Summary
Licensed Personal Lines Auto & Home Insurance Agent responsible for providing comprehensive insurance solutions, evaluating risk, and confidently asking for the sale while overcoming objections. Must hold or be able to obtain a Personal Lines or Property & Casualty license prior to hire. The role offers hybrid or remote work with in-office days near Hartford, CT or San Antonio, TX; after training, remote work is possible with occasional office visits as needed. Strong emphasis on customer-focused service, negotiation, and sales performance within an established insurer serving AARP members. Training program runs 8/24/26 for ~13 weeks; compensation includes an hourly base with potential bonuses and bilingual advantage.
Required Qualifications
- Active Personal Lines or Property & Casualty (P&C) license required
- Must hold or be able to obtain Personal Lines or P&C license prior to hire
- 2+ years of recent sales experience
- Experience with negotiating and overcoming objections
- Ability to handle 30-40 inbound calls per day
- Ability to work hybrid or remote schedule
- High speed broadband internet with wired connection to Hartford-issued router/computer
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Licenses and ability to maintain state licenses for roles
- Bilingual Spanish-English is a plus
