Job Summary
Retirement Income Advisor at USAA focused on guiding members through retirement income planning with a consultative, client-centered approach. Lead inbound/outbound calls, assess member needs, and craft personalized retirement income strategies, including annuity considerations, tax-efficient distributions, long-term care, estate considerations, and integration with investment portfolios. Role requires in-office presence in Plano, TX five days per week with potential move to hybrid after six months. Requires appropriate licenses (Life, FINRA 7/66) and designation qualifications (CFP/RICP/ChFC) and 4+ years in financial services; signing bonus of $2,500 offered; relocation not available. Experience with tools like Money Guide and Salesforce, and ability to educate and guide less experienced teammates while ensuring compliance and risk management.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Active Life license with maintenance or ability to obtain within 90 days
- FINRA Series 7
- FINRA Series 66 (or 63 and 65)
- 4 years financial industry experience including retirement income planning and/or sales experience
- Ability to be licensed and registered in required states
