Licensed Retail Security Guard

Provide security detail at Lynnhaven Mall as a full-time Security Officer; patrol buildings and perimeters, control entrances and movement of pedestrian and vehicle traffic, escort material and personnel, inspect security and fire exposures, monitor cameras and equipment, and maintain knowledge of emergency policies and procedures. Maintain professional image with customers and employees, greet visitors, report post updates, and communicate security issues to the Security Supervisor. Duties may vary by post orders; ensure reports (Daily Activity Reports, Incident Reports) are completed and participate in loss prevention and safety enhancements. Requires strong customer service, vigilance, teamwork, and the ability to follow directions and work with a sense of urgency.
