Licensed Retail Security Guard

Provide security detail at Lynnhaven Mall, patrol buildings and perimeters, control entrances, escort materials and personnel, inspect security and fire exposures, and perform special assignments. Maintain a professional image with excellent customer service, greet customers, visitors, and employees, and stay aware of post orders and updates. Be proactive in reporting suspicious activity, incidents, and emergencies; monitor cameras and operate life safety systems; complete Daily Activity Reports, Incident Reports, and other required documentation. Maintain knowledge of fire panels, CCTV, elevators, and accessibility equipment; ensure compliance with safety and loss-prevention procedures; liaise with Security Supervisor and local authorities as needed. Requires teamwork, urgency, effective communication, and adherence to post orders; duties may vary by location and post orders.
