Job Summary
Join Deer Oaks Behavioral Health as a Licensed Psychologist in a long-term care clinical setting. Provide comprehensive psychological evaluations, individual psychotherapy for older adults with medical/cognitive needs, family and caregiver support, group therapy as appropriate, and behavioral management interventions. Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans, manage a caseload independently, and collaborate with nursing, social work, physicians, and rehabilitation teams. Maintain timely, HIPAA-compliant documentation using the Geriatric Notes Tool (GNT) and ensure regulatory compliance. This on-site role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with no evenings/weekends/on-call, opportunities for autonomy within an interdisciplinary team, APA-CEU supported professional development, and liability insurance provided. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work independently in a LTC environment and travel to nearby facilities as needed.
Required Qualifications
