Licensed Psychologist - Central State Hospital

Provide treatment to adults with serious mental illness and co-occurring substance, developmental, and behavioral health needs. Develop risk assessments, psychological testing, behavioral plans, and conduct individual and group therapies. Assist in crisis interventions, complete initial assessments, develop treatment plans, monitor patient progress, and assist with discharge planning. Participate in multidisciplinary treatment teams to assess diagnosis, danger, and least restrictive care levels. Provide supervision to students and interns, testify for involuntary commitment and competency hearings as needed, and conduct criminal responsibility evaluations.
