Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive autism spectrum disorder diagnostic evaluations using evidence-based tools, administer and interpret psychological tests, and write detailed clinical reports meeting regulatory standards. Deliver findings to families and providers while collaborating with BCBAs and intake staff to facilitate seamless care transitions. Maintain accurate clinical documentation and participate in supervision with a Licensed Psychologist per North Carolina requirements. Travel to clinic locations throughout the Triangle, Fayetteville, Wilmington, and Charlotte, as approximately 25% of work time involves travel outside the home market.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Psychology from an accredited program
- 1-2 years clinical experience conducting psychological evaluations
- Experience with ASD populations
- 2+ years direct experience with autism diagnostic tools
- Active Licensed Psychological Associate (LPA) credential in North Carolina
- Experience working in pediatric or developmental disability settings
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Approximately 25% of work time involves travel outside the diagnostician's home market
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and treatment approaches
