Job Summary
Administer and score psychological testing measures and assessments under the supervision of the LPA-IP and Director of IDD Authority Services. Conduct initial review and sorting of referral records, then assist with information gathering for report development. Shadow in-person and telehealth evaluations until qualified to perform them independently. Implement trauma-informed care principles and cultural sensitivity throughout all client interactions. Operate general office equipment including fax machines and copiers while maintaining documentation timeliness.
Required Qualifications
- at least a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology indicating coursework in psychological or intellectual assessments
- at least 1-2 years of experience working with individuals with IDD who have a mental health and behavior support needs or linking people with IDD to mental health supports
- working knowledge of fax machine, personal computer, and copier
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Minimum typing speed of 30wpm
- valid driver's license
- insurable to drive Center vehicles
- ability to competently administer and score psychological testing and assessments
- ability to develop and write professional service notes or reports
- basic understanding of mathematics
- ability to provide verbal feedback, work effectively with other professionals and the community served
- ability to use a copy machine, fax machine, Microsoft Office, and calculator
- appropriate professional interpersonal skills with individuals served, employees, and the community
- Must pass all Center mandated trainings
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
