Job Summary
Conduct daily clinical rounds and monitor mentally or developmentally disabled patients for signs of mental illness. Administer medications and treatments, including hypodermic injections, and perform basic nursing procedures such as charting vital signs within the scope of licensure under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Medical Doctor. Provide general behavioral and psychiatric nursing care to patients. Requires current and active Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) license with one year of experience preferred; BLS certification needed. Located in a correctional setting with hourly pay starting at $59.00.
Required Qualifications
- Basic Life Support BLS Certification from the American Heart Association
- Current and Active Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) License
