Licensed Psychiatric NP

Licensed Psychiatric NP position to start or grow a private practice. Partner with Headway to navigate insurance, credentialing, and practice operations while maintaining control over your schedule and caseload. You’ll be a fully licensed psychiatric nurse practitioner with DEA/CDS and board certification, Credentialing is handled through Headway (free in multiple states in ~30 days). The role offers autonomy as a 1099 independent contractor with bi-weekly payments and access to Headway’s EHR tools, scheduling, secure client messaging, documentation templates, assessments, and more. Responsibilities include leveraging Headway’s platform to credential with insurers, manage insurance-related tasks, ensure compliance with insurance requirements, and provide psychiatric care to clients within your private practice. The Headway program supports mental health providers to take insurance and build a scalable practice while you focus on patient care. Locations shown include New York City, NY.
