Job Summary
Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to help launch or expand a private practice through Headway. Responsibilities include getting credentialed for free in multiple states, joining an insurance network to accept coverage, and leveraging built-in features (EHR, scheduling, client messaging, documentation templates, assessments) to manage a practice. The role emphasizes growing practice revenue by working within Headway’s nationwide network, securing higher rates with insurance plans, and maintaining compliance with audit support, ongoing resources, and bi-weekly payments. Must hold a fully licensed status (LPC, LPCC, LCPC, LCPCS, LPCC-S) with a valid NPI number and malpractice insurance; Headway can’t support professionals who aren’t fully licensed at this time. Location is Fresno, CA (US) and the position is in-person.
Required Qualifications
- Fully-licensed Professional Counselor (Master’s level or above) with LPC, LPCC, LCPC, LCPCS, LPCC-S licensure (state-by-state), valid NPI number, malpractice insurance, able to launch or grow private practice, credentialing for insurance networks (including Medicare Advantage and Medicaid)
