Job Summary
Conduct evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of psychiatric and substance use disorders under direct clinical supervision. Collaborate with patients and support systems to implement risk reduction and mitigation plans ensuring patient and community safety. Deliver specialized psychotherapy services including cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and dialectical behavioral therapy in individual, group, and family settings. Manage group facilitation, safety planning, and milieu management as a member of the interdisciplinary care team on the Adult Inpatient Psychiatric Unit. Work variable hours totaling 32 weeks part-time.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Counseling, Counseling Psychology or related field
- Oregon Professional Counselor License
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year Master's level practicum in a behavioral health setting in an accredited college or university internship
- Additional experience in substance use treatment setting
