Job Summary
Conduct evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of psychiatric and substance use disorders for patients and support systems under clinical supervision. Collaborate with patients and interdisciplinary teams to develop evidence-informed care plans, implement risk reduction strategies, and utilize psychotherapy approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and dialectical behavioral therapy. Provide specialized services in individual, group, and family settings to reduce symptoms and ensure patient safety. Work within a licensing board-approved supervision plan to achieve licensure while adhering to NASW code of ethics and standards of practice.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Counseling, Counseling Psychology or related field
- Oregon Professional Counselor License
- Master's Degree in Social Work from a CSWE Accredited School of Social Work, OR from a school in candidacy status by the council of Social Work Education (CSWE)
- Oregon Clinical Social Worker License
- Washington Clinical Independent Social Worker License
- License in states wherever care is delivered
- 2 years relevant Social Work experience
- Master's Degree Family therapy
- Oregon Marriage and Family Therapist License
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year Master's level practicum in a behavioral health setting in an accredited college or university internship
- Additional experience in substance use treatment setting
