Job Summary
Provide Therapeutic Behavioral Services to residents in skilled nursing and assisted living facilities, including consultation with licensed clinicians to support individualized needs and treatment planning. Develop individualized supports and care coordination across healthcare and behavioral health needs, deliver crisis prevention and restoration of daily living skills, and provide services to individuals or groups. Train staff on triggers, de-escalation techniques, and treatment plan implementation; maintain open, positive communication with facility staff and administration; ensure adherence to events WholeHealth standards and HIPAA regulations; collaborate with clinical supervisor on care requests; uphold professional ethics and regulatory requirements. Opportunities may arise for a future transition to providing counseling services within a multidisciplinary team focused on improving quality of life for residents.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Professional Counselor or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
- Master’s degree in counseling or marriage and family therapy
- Eligibility for license to practice in the practicing state
- Knowledge of behavioral health interventions and regulatory guidelines
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare team
- Ability to react calmly in emergency situations
