Job Summary
Therapeutic Behavioral Specialist to provide recovery-oriented behavioral health services and case management to residents in skilled nursing and assisted living facilities. Responsibilities include service planning and development of individualized treatment plans, linkage to interventions, crisis prevention, delivering services to individuals and groups, staff training on client triggers and de-escalation, and maintaining open communications with facility staff. Must work within Eventus WholeHealth standards and comply with regulatory and HIPAA requirements. Requires Licensed Professional Counselor or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with Master’s degree and eligibility for state licensure.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Professional Counselor or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (Master’s degree in counseling or marriage and family therapy)
- Eligibility for state licensure to practice in the applicable state
- Knowledge of population-specific interventions and behavioral health care delivery
- Skills in gathering and analyzing patient data
- Skills in training on emotional well-being, stress management, and life skills
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA
