Job Summary
Therapeutic Behavioral Specialist to provide recovery-oriented support and case management to residents in long-term care facilities, with opportunities may arise to transition to providing counseling services. Responsibilities include developing individualized treatment plans, delivering behavioral health services, coordinating care with licensed clinicians, training staff on triggers and de-escalation, facilitating crisis prevention, maintaining patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance, and collaborating with facility staff to ensure high-quality clinical care within regulatory guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Counseling or Marriage and Family Therapy
- Licensed Professional Counselor or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
- Eligibility for licensure in the practicing state
