Job Summary
Therapeutic Behavioral Specialist to provide recovery-oriented support and case management to residents of long-term care facilities, collaborating with licensed clinicians. Responsibilities include developing individualized supports and treatment plans, linkage and crisis prevention services, delivering services to individual clients or groups, staff training on triggers and interventions, and maintaining open communication with facility staff while adhering to HIPAA and regulatory standards. Opportunities may exist for transitioning to counseling services within a multidisciplinary team to improve quality of life for adults in skilled nursing and assisted living settings.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in counseling or marriage and family therapy
- Eligibility for license to practice in the state of practice
