Therapeutic Behavioral Specialist role supporting residents of skilled nursing and assisted living facilities. Provides recovery-oriented support, develops individualized care plans, assists with treatment options and crisis prevention, and may transition to counseling services. Works within a multidisciplinary team to deliver clinical care, maintain patient confidentiality, and adhere to HIPAA and regulatory standards. Requires a Master’s degree in counseling or marriage and family therapy and licensure eligibility; strong skills in data gathering, de-escalation, teaching staff, and collaboration with facility staff.
