Job Summary
Therapeutic Behavioral Specialist role within Eventus WholeHealth for residents in skilled nursing and assisted living facilities. Provide recovery-oriented support and case management, deliver linkage/interventions, develop treatment plans, and mentor staff on client triggers and de-escalation. Collaborate with licensed clinicians, coordinate care across behavioral health and medical teams, and uphold HIPAA/compliance standards. Opportunities may arise for transitioning to counseling services; focus is on improving quality of life for residents through evidence-based behavioral health practices in long-term care settings.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
- Master’s degree in counseling or marriage and family therapy
- Eligibility for license to practice in the state where practicing
- Knowledge of behavioral health interventions and population-specific care
- Knowledge of HIPAA rules and regulations
- Ability to gather and analyze clinical data
- Ability to develop and implement treatment plans
- Ability to provide training in social and emotional well-being
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary health care team
- Commitment to patient confidentiality and professional ethics
