Job Summary
Provide Therapeutic Behavioral Services to residents of skilled nursing and assisted living facilities, including consultation with a licensed clinician, development of individualized treatment plans and care coordination, crisis prevention, and delivery of services to individual clients or groups. Train staff on client triggers, de-escalation techniques, and treatment plans; maintain open communications with facility staff and supervisors; ensure HIPAA-compliant handling of patient information; and support the potential transition to providing counseling services within a multidisciplinary team focused on improving quality of life for residents.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in counseling or marriage and family therapy
- Eligibility for a license to practice in the state of practice
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
