Job Summary
Therapeutic Behavioral Specialist sought to join Eventus WholeHealth, delivering recovery-oriented behavioral health services and case management to residents in skilled nursing and assisted living facilities. Provide planning for individualized supports, develop treatment plans, offer crisis prevention and intervention, deliver services to individuals or groups, train staff on triggers and de-escalation, and collaborate with licensed clinicians and facility teams. Maintain open communication with facility staff, adhere to regulatory and ethical standards, and participate in multidisciplinary care to improve residents' quality of life; opportunities may exist for eventual counseling services. Ensure HIPAA compliance and effective use of documentation/EMR in a professional setting.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in counseling or marriage and family therapy
- License eligibility to practice in the state
- Licensed Professional Counselor or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
- Knowledge of behavioral health practice and treatment planning
- Ability to gather and analyze patient data; provide training and guidance to staff
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work with HIPAA rules and maintain confidentiality
