Job Summary
Therapeutic Behavioral Specialist responsible for delivering recovery-oriented behavioral health services and case management to residents of long-term care facilities (skilled nursing and/or assisted living). Works within a multidisciplinary team to develop individualized treatment plans, provide linkage and interventions, support daily life skills, crisis prevention, and staff training on triggers and de-escalation techniques. Maintains open communication with facility staff and adheres to HIPAA and regulatory standards; opportunities may arise for future counseling service delivery. Requires Master’s degree and licensure eligibility for LPC or LMFT.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in counseling or marriage and family therapy
- Eligibility for licensure to practice in the practicing state (Licensed Professional Counselor or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist)
