Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive initial assessments and facilitate cognitive rehabilitation therapy addressing identified impairments. Deliver individual and group counseling sessions while promoting patient and family understanding of neurological injury recovery. Collaborate with a transdisciplinary team including PT, OT, SLP, and Nursing to determine patient outcomes and adjust behavioral management plans based on neuropsychological test results. Lead patient team and family conferences to support goal-directed community integration activities. Participate in functional patient activities and outings within a 12-bed Neuro Transitional Center serving patients with traumatic brain injury, stroke, and spinal cord injury.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree appropriate to position
- Licensed LPC/ Licensed Professional Counselor
- Certified BLS completion
